There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples; my philosophy is kindness.

  1. Hi Cynthia, Thank you for stopping by and leaving your sweet words. Yes, Molly and I do lots of hugging. I took her to the vet Tues, and she's losing her hair on her tail and left rear foot. Nerves... chewing. Poor girl is beside herself that James is not here. We both are.

So glad your hair is coming back, and you're finding your new normal. Your husband was a tank commander? Tell him I was the first journalist to drive & fire the M-1 tank at Ft Hood. Think it was 1984 or 1985. I actually broke the left idler arm when I was driving. The tank commander didn't see a ravine until the last second, and at about 60 miles per hour, we tumbled into the ravine, sideways.

I remember watching thru the slit window, the main gun turret was still over my head, as what seemed like a battalion of Majors and Colonels drove up in Jeeps. Since the M-1 was way behind schedule & over budget, they were concerned about what to tell me about the tank breaking & the track falling off, that they forgot to get me out of the tank! Since I was a military kid, and my heart lies w/the men in uniform, they didn't have to worry about anything.

Best wishes in your days ahead,
